Uptown Charlotte Wedding | Richard & Corinna
We were thrilled when Richard & Corinna contacted us to photograph their upcoming wedding day! Like a lot of our couples, they found us through some of our past brides and grooms. It is truly one of the biggest compliments we can receive when our past couples continue to refer us and we are forever grateful to them!
You may remember these two from their Autumn engagement session. We couldn’t wait to see these two again and to get them back in front of our cameras for their special day. Finally, June came and it was time for these two to walk down the aisle. Before that though, they shared the sweetest First Look out on the balcony of the gorgeous Foundation For The Carolinas‘ venue. We totally caught Richard stealing a peek of his beautiful bride through the glass doors! He quite literally couldn’t wait to see Corinna walking towards him. The couple shared happy tears and embraced with the excitement of the day ahead of them and we loved documenting every little moment, for them.
We enjoyed getting to steal these two for little one-on-one moments throughout the course of their wedding day. It’s so awesome when couples let us do this because it allows us to get them in multiple different spots around their venue while also giving them some private time away from their guests. Richard & Corinna are a perfect pair in every way and we loved all of the sentimental touches to their day that reflected them so well. But let us tell you, this couple is also just plain cool! Richard is a musician & singer in a local band. And to all of their guests surprise, him and his bandmates took the spotlight during the reception to play everyone a song. How awesome is that?! We loved watching Corinna’s face light up as Richard played for his new wife. And we loved that this couple made this moment a priority for their day. It was so fun to photograph!
Richard & Corinna, we really enjoyed working with you guys throughout your engagement and wedding day. You both are just awesome people inside and out and seriously too cool for us! We wish you both all the best married life has to offer!
