THE RUINS AT KELLUM VALLEY WEDDING | CURTIS & ERIN

Meet, Curtis & Erin! The ruins at Kellum Valley wedding is a beautiful historic wedding venue tucked in the GA mountains. The ruins are what remains from an old school house. It is truly a remarkable venue and spot to host a stunning wedding. The property includes a huge barn where Curtis and his guys got ready and the home itself is where Erin and the girls prepared.

They chose to read their vows privately before sharing their first look. Then just outside the ruins they saw each other for the first time. Their super fun bridal party joined them for some photos while guests began arriving for the ceremony. We loved the layout of this venue's property since it allowed us complete privacy from guests while getting to do Curtis & Erin's bridal party pictures.

The Ruins at Kellum Valley Wedding

These two both love nature and chose under the huge maple tree spot, to say “I-Do.” One of the key features for The Ruins at Kellum Valley Wedding 🙂 It was a magical location. The weather sprinkled some rain here and there but never enough to bother anyone. The cloudy skies casted a gorgeous soft box light over the entire day which was beautiful for capturing photos. Curtis teared up seeing his bride come down the flower petaled aisle and then proceeded to make everyone laugh throughout the ceremony with all his funny one liners. The newlyweds were showered with petals after being pronounced as husband and wife. Then it was time to stroll over to the cocktail party by the pool. Our favorite detail was their custom koozies with their dog Leo printed on them. Paired pawfectly with a signature Leo drink. We love when couples include their dogs into their wedding days and we were so happy that we got to have Leo in front of our cameras a bit too!

For some musical entertainment, some of the guest’s played guitar, and sang, while Erin’s dad played the harmonica. Everyone roamed up higher on the hill, to the ruins, which were nestled in the trees and strung with twinkle lights. To continue the celebration, they had a buffet dinner, cake & cookies, and lots of dancing! We stole the couple for a few last minute moments of daylight and the two were sent off with a sparkler exit on a vintage 1973 Bronco. We love that every touch of their day felt true to their fun personalities.

Curtis & Erin, we loved every moment of your special day in Georgia. Thanks for letting us be a part of this magnificent celebration for The Ruins at Kellum Valley Wedding!

XO,
Mark & Kelly
