Pretty Place Chapel Wedding | Tony & Ashley
On the first day of Autumn, we traveled to the mountains for Tony & Ashley’s wedding day. They chose Pretty Place Chapel, a little spot tucked away in the hills and overlooking the beautiful Asheville mountains. This intimate place is truly something special. Upon arriving and walking up to the huge wooden cross placed at the alter, the view literally takes your breath away. This place is definitely a hidden gem and we couldn’t wait to photograph Tony & Ashley exchange their vows in this gorgeous spot.
When these two first met, Tony’s new hobby quickly became trying to get Ashley to go out on a date with him. Three years later and after much persistence, Ashley finally said ‘yes’ to a date. And as they say, “the rest is history!” We love that Tony didn’t give up trying to win Ashley over and after witnessing this couple’s enormous love for one another, it’s obvious that they are too.
Tony is in the military and absolutely the definition of a ‘tough guy.’ So seeing his sweet reaction when his bride walked down the aisle was definitely one of our favorite moments of the day. This chapel, surrounded by God’s nature, was such an awesome place to begin their forever. The entire day and atmosphere was filled with love, prayer, and support for this wonderful couple and we feel privileged to have been a part of it.
After these two officially tied the knot, they jumped in our jeep and we headed towards their reception venue at Homewood. We decided it would be awesome to grab some killer one-on-ones en route and just pull over on the side of the road at cool places we saw along the way. Tony & Ashley loved the idea and trusted us completely. This is why our couples are SO great! Because of their laid back nature and trust in us, we were able to find some absolutely amazing spots at just the right places for these two. First off, we saw a little field that was wild and beautiful and happened to be near a small lake. PERFECT! The light was getting just right and God was bringing all the pieces of the puzzle together for these two. We were happy with that location already when we continued our way towards the reception. Then we stumbled upon an epic tree farm and couldn’t pass up the chance to capture our couple there too. Tony & Ashley embraced every moment and were so cool to roam all over the place with! We honestly couldn’t have asked for more.
Tony & Ashley, your day was amazing and we know that it isn’t a coincidence. You two are so perfect together and compliment each other so well. We know that God will continue to bless your relationship and your marriage. Thank you for choosing us to capture this awesome day, for you!
