NC Mountain Elopement | Clifton & Alesha
Ever get the feeling that some weddings are more about pleasing the guests than they are about pleasing the bride and groom? Well, there is no mistaking Clifton & Alesha’s intentions for their wedding day… their guest list consisted of 10 members of their closest family and friends! Awwww, we just adore small weddings! And choosing to say your “I-do’s” lakeside surrounded by gorgeous misty mountains and only your closest loved ones is a perfect way to focus on the most important part of a wedding… two people who are in love and that are choosing to spend the rest of their lives together. Clifton & Alesha contacted me just a short month ago asking us to be apart of their wedding elopement at the beautiful Lake Lure. Not only was the idea of heading back to one of our favorite places, music to our ears but we also happened to hit the jackpot with the sweetest couple, too! This whole day was simplistic, relaxed, full of joy, and absolutely lovely. The mountain air and foggy mist set a gorgeous tone throughout the day and we were delighted to be able to roam the Lake Lure hills and calm lakeside with this adorable pair. Clifton & Alesha are so sweet to each other and you can tell by the way they look at each other, just how in love and happy they are. 🙂 These two were a delight to be with and we were so thrilled that they trusted us completely to capture their day the way we saw it. Getting to document moments like this, at places like this, with couples like this, is exactly why we do what we do for a living. It was simply, perfect. Congratulations to the happy couple!
C&A, thank you for choosing us to be apart of your intimate wedding. We feel so honored to have witnessed your special day and it is something we will never forget. We wish you two, all the best!
