We met up with Jacob & Allison for a fun Fort Fisher Engagement session by the sea!
Their dog Kona even joined in and mostly was excited to prance around in the water.. it was so cute watching her get major zoomies after finally getting her paws in the sand.
Jacob & Allison are so sweet and like MOST of our couples, a little camera shy. But we always try to assure our couples that we are there to have fun and document them being themselves. Even if we make some crazy suggestions here and there, we are SO happy we get to work with amazing couples like Jacob & Allison, who are so trusting and game for anything!
We love that they chose to have their adventure session in Fort Fisher because it’s a perfect place to get tons of diverse photos all in one location. The twisty trees are an absolute favorite backdrop of ours and if you’ve been following us for awhile, you KNOW how much we love the beach and shooting by the seaside! The afternoon ended with a cotton candy sky sunset for us to all enjoy, which was the cherry on top of a lovely day.

We had a wonderful time exploring this beautiful place with Jacob & Allison and their sweet pup and CAN’T WAIT to see them again for their wedding day. It’s going to be the best!
