Fort Fisher Engagement | Kevin & Courtney
Kevin & Courtney are such a sweet and fun couple! We met up with these two in Fort Fisher, near their home in Kure Beach, for some engagement photos by the sea. We feel like we have been traveling back and forth from the coast all Summer long and we aren’t even mad about it! We LOVE shooting near water and especially enjoy being near the ocean, so we have been excited that our couples continue to request to have their sessions there. Something is so calming about being by the water and any chance we can dip our toes in the sand, is a perfect day in our book. Y’all keep the beach sessions coming, please?!
We immediately recognized Kevin & Courtney’s awesome sense of humors and could tell they were ready for a fun engagement session. We had visited Fort Fisher, years ago, for another session and were so psyched to return again. This place is so beautiful and offers the coolest backdrops for us to explore. The trees there are freaking awesome (just how we remembered them!) and we still can’t get over the sea views that peek through those beautifully twisted limbs. We waisted no time snagging some epic shots for these two and even climbed up a tree to get the perfect angle.
We were smitten over Kevin & Courtney and could easily tell how madly in love they are! We feel so grateful, not only that they chose us to capture them, but that they were also completely REAL and vulnerable in front of our cameras. We adore the story that Courtney’s eye tell in these photos… she is so crazy for Kevin and we can see it in how she looks at him. And we love how Kevin’s smile is so big and contagious when he is with Courtney. We are thankful to have gotten to spend a wonderful evening getting to know this incredible couple and what makes them, them! We got splashed by the ocean, played on rocks, and laughed until the sun began to set over the inlet. It was a magical view and (once again) made us feel so happy to be able to do this for a living. To share moments like this with amazing couples like Kevin & Courtney is a dream come true, to us.
