Meet our lovely friends, Josh & Tonya for their Concord Engagement! We both grew up with Josh as a close friend from school, playing tennis, and through church. When we asked how they got together, Josh told us they met while playing ultimate frisbee! He said he quickly noticed "the girl with the cool leggings!" And he hoped she would think he was cool too. They didn’t start dating right away. Instead, deciding to be friends first. Finally, they took a leap of faith and started officially dating, both knowing that this would be something special.
When Josh proposed, he wrote and played a song for Tonya. The song's lyrics detailing the story of how they met and fell for one another. And spoiler alert, Tonya said "YES!" “We were just trying to catch that frisbee but we caught each other instead."
What a true honor it is anytime friends choose to hire and support your small business! We feel so grateful not only to be thought of, but that these two chose their date based on OUR availability. How sweet is that?!
Downtown Concord Engagement
Josh & Tonya trusted us to pick out a cool spot for their fun adventure engagement. A downtown Concord engagement seemed like a no brainer to capture some city vibes. And these two particularly loved the giant Coca-Cola wall so we took full advantage of the massive backdrop.
We shot right up until dusk roaming all around our favorite historic downtown. Playing music, belly laughing, and soaking up the final moments of daylight.
These two were supposed to get married this April but due to Covid-19, had to postpone. We're hoping to witness their special day, in June. But whenever these two finally get to say "I-Do," we'll be there documenting every sweet moment.
Josh & Tonya, thanks for allowing us to capture your fun Concord engagement! Crossing our fingers that you two can hurry up and get hitched!!
