Claxton Farm Wedding | Antuan & Carrie
Remember these two from their December Lake Lure engagement? We were thrilled to be a part of this awesome couple’s beautiful day in the Asheville mountains. They chose Claxton Farm as their venue to get hitched and start their married lives, together. It was a beautiful farm full of livestock, rolling hills, and mountain views. The farm is tucked away just enough to feel like your in the middle of nowhere and provided the perfect intimate atmosphere that Antuan & Carrie were seeking.
Can you believe these two met randomly in a park?! It is so obvious to us, and to everyone who knows them, how incredibly perfect these two are for each other. Chatting with Carrie and hearing her talk about Antuan and their future marriage together brings the biggest smiles to our faces. This couple has such a deep connection and respect for one another and we feel so honored that they chose us to document the first part of their married adventure!
We loved photographing Antuan’s cute reaction to seeing Carrie for the first time beneath a beautiful willow tree. Their First Look was full of happy tears and excitement for the day ahead. We really enjoyed this couple’s laid back, yet intentional, nature for every part of their wedding plans. Every detail was special and well thought out. We particularly loved their “UP” inspired details like their globe, honeymoon fund jar, and adventure book – which was already filled with tons pictures of the couple’s exciting adventures thus far! Another fun “detail” of the day was a llama named Chocolate Chip who insisted on being a primary wedding guest throughout the afternoon. He even had his own custom bowtie made for the occasion – completely edible of course, since it didn’t make it to the reception!
Everything about this day was full of positive energy and love from everyone there. And we wish these two all the best as they head into their greatest adventure yet, married life!
