Welcome to this amazing Brown Mountain Beach Resort Wedding!
It was a gorgeous Autumn day in the mountains, by a riverside. Ted & Colleen brought their sweet dog Jack and he roamed around the property ALL DAY, greeting everyone and spreading joy. It’s so awesome when couples have their fur babes apart of the wedding day and always makes the atmosphere feel extra special.
Their day was perfect.. sunny, and beautiful and the leaves were beginning to pop with loads of color! Ted & Colleen hosted their ceremony on the open sands, right next to the river, with the fall foliage, huge rocks, and some gentle running waters as the backdrop. Multiple ducks swam by for a closer visit. Mother nature and her beautiful ambiance was the main guest of honor for this Brown Mountain Beach Resort Wedding. The overall atmosphere and feeling of this scene was completely flawless throughout the day.
Colleen’s bridal look was lovely and gave all the gorgeous boho vibes. Our favorite touch was her mother’s headpiece, borrowed from her own wedding day. Colleen even got emotional upon seeing her whole look come together and realizing it was her turn. She noted how special her parent’s marriage has been to witness and we love when our brides fully take in all these heartfelt moments instead of allowing the busyness of their day take them away from living in the moment. It was wonderful to see!
They shared a first look moment and then we hopped over to their cool camper for some fun photos. These two are super adventurous and even planned a road trip across the country, following their big day.
We adored the sweet cake topper that was hand carved by the Colleen's father. And how Ted’s father officiated the ceremony. There were lots of DIY moments from so many of their loved ones. And the rest of the evening was spent with wonderful drinks, and even better company, dancing the night away.
