Welcome to another year in review, 2021 Favorite Moments, with The Stewarts Roam Photography. This is always our favorite blogpost to curate each year because it gives us a chance to sit down, reflect, and review all the amazing memories from over the course of our year of documenting love stories. Of course, it's a huge undertaking to sift through basically thousands of photos. But it's worth it to us to be able to look back and see a wonderful curated collection of our personal favorite captures of our 2021 elopements, weddings, bridal sessions, and adventures.
With things being the way they are right now, our year definitely had less travel than normal (for us) but we still loved getting to cover a lot of out of state adventures and gorgeous wedding day moments for our sweet couples. We were blessed to witness awesome places with our couples from the wooded back country of the NC triad (including our beloved new property with our big old cabin & winding creekside) to balconies in Uptown Charlotte skyscrapers, and white tents in private backyard homes. From a ton of cool places in Raleigh and quite literally all over the North Carolina mountains. We got to see Biltmore (one of our personal favorite spots) multiple times this year and some of the prettiest gardens Asheville has to offer. We traveled to the sandy beaches in Florida and all the way up to the seaside towns in Connecticut. From a Pinehurst B&B and iconic golf course, to a rustic barn in Waxhaw. We loved getting to cross off a huge bucket list destination, when we flew to Kauai Hawaii for some unbelievable adventurous moments; Including epic beaches, snorkeling, and sailing around the Napali Coast. That will be a trip we never forget! And of course, we finally got to visit San Francisco this year (after being postponed in 2020). We went adventuring around the Golden Gate Bridge in the Marin Headlands, all over beautiful Sausalito, and even the magical redwoods. Plus the loveliest intimate wedding hosted in the city by the bay.
Not to mention all the other killer sessions and wedding days we were lucky enough to be a part of (not pictured here), it was truly a year full of so many wonderful moments.
